Fine Gardening by CLC Landscape Design

clc landscape design

Since 1992, CLC Landscapes, Inc. has been providing quality lawn and landscape services to the residential and commercial markets of the Greater Omaha Area. The association’s core goal is to support CLCA members as they create beautiful, enduring landscapes that improve the quality of life. CLC Landscape Design has also worked with the Ridgewood Conservancy on other projects, such as the planting of daffodils. In 2010, CLC donated and planted a Redbud tree in Van Neste Square that was dedicated to a past member of the Ridgewood Parks, Recreation and Conservation Board. CLC’s Rich Cording Jr., a veteran himself, also worked with the Ridgewood VFW in brainstorming a memorial for the fourteen ash trees that were planted in 1931 at the dedication of Graydon Park. The trees were originally planted for the fourteen young Ridgewood residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice in WWI.

Chatham, NJ – Landscape Design

With its beautiful homes, suburban neighborhoods, and historic downtown district, the village was ranked 26th in a 2011 list in Money magazine of the “Best Places to Live” in America. The same publication ranked the Village of Ridgewood 15th on a list of the top 25 earning towns in the USA. Drive down any street, from North Maple Ave to East Ridgewood Ave, and you are greeted by beautiful property after beautiful property. Landscape lighting is yet another way to improve upon your existing landscaping. Some of the benefits of low-voltage LED landscape lighting include adding interest to the landscape, increasing usability during the evening hours, and reinforcing your home security. Our team will design a lighting system that perfectly suits your existing landscaping and needs.

Maintenance

We are proud that our members are landscape contractors, vendors to the trade, educators, government personnel, consultants, landscape architects, landscape designers, teachers and students. By including “Design” in our name from the very beginning, my father wanted to make CLC Landscape Design a design-driven company. What that means is that throughout everything we do, including during the installation-phase and maintenance-phase of a landscape project, we are always honoring and embracing great landscape design concepts. My father founded CLC Landscape Design on the belief that Great Landscapes Begin with Great Design Ideas. Within one company he combined the vision of the landscape architect and the craftsmanship of the landscape contractor.

Somerset County:

As a landscape design/build company that has been working in Ridgewood for over 40 years, we understand and appreciate the importance that many villagers place on their property’s landscaping. Drive through any of Ridgewood’s neighborhoods, from The Heights to the West End, and you are likely to see the landscape work of CLC Landscape Design. Over the past four decades, we have designed and installed swimming pools, patios, plantings, outdoor kitchens, pergolas, water features, landscape lighting, and more.

In fact, Chatham High School was ranked #1 in New Jersey Monthly magazine’s 2014 rankings of the state’s top public high schools. This fantastic school system is a motivating factor for people who decide to move to Chatham. The exceptional school system also explains the prevalence of young families in Chatham. We love designing and installing landscapes for young families as it excites us to know that the yards we design are the yards that the children will grow up with and create memories in throughout their childhood.

Top Class Landscapers Taking The Stress Out of Building Your Dream Property

With a New Jersey Transit train service direct to New York’s Penn Station, many of Summit’s residents commute to work in New York City. For those who commute, we understand the desire to come home to a beautiful yard designed for your relaxation. We understand that your time is valuable, which is why we specialize in installing low-maintenance landscapes with plants that are easy to maintain and provide year-round interest. Many homes in Summit were built around the turn of the century, some of which have been renovated, while others were built more recently. Our team of landscape architects and landscape designers will design a landscape to compliment your home’s unique architectural style.

Getting Started is Super Easy

We understand why many homeowners trade up within the town as opposed to moving elsewhere. These and many other benefits and services make CLCA membership valued by those in California’s landscape contracting industry. CLCA’s roots were born locally, as there were three regional landscaping trade groups each working on behalf of the industry.

Morris County:

Kinnelon is one of the few towns in our service area that manages to be both suburban and rural. With this balance in mind, CLC Landscape Design strives to design and install landscapes that fit the borough’s unique character. Rich Cording, Jr., MLD, an Eagle Scout, studied at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and Oxford University in England. He served as a US Navy officer on board the USS JOHN S. McCAIN (DDG-56) stationed in Tokyo, Japan. After those adventures, he completed his graduate work at Columbia University in New York City earning a Master of Landscape Design. At CLC, he works alongside his father being involved in all aspects of the business, from landscape design to project management.

Today, CLC Landscape Design is run by my father, myself, and the wonderful employees that have made CLC their home for many years. If you would like to know if we work in your town, please contact us for more information. When we are working in Chatham on Saturdays during the summer, we always make it a point to stop by the weekly farmer’s market. Even when we’re not working there, we try to make it a point to attend the Fishawack Festival each summer.

The success of CLC has led to numerous long-term relationships with our clients, some of whom we have been honored to have as clients for over 30 years. In addition, almost all of our employees have worked with us for over 10 years, and some as long as 30 years. These long-term relationships have led to a family-type atmosphere at CLC and a positive energy that translates into superb client experiences.

Realizing that other trades wished to limit the work landscape contractors could do under their C-27 license, the regional groups banded together and the statewide CLCA was created. Strictly Necessary Cookie should be enabled at all times so that we can save your preferences for cookie settings. Coined in 1973, the title “CLC” comes from the names Cording, Laster, and Cording – those being my father, one of his best high school friends Art Laster, and my mother.

For example, Franklin Lakes has a unique ordinance that creates a non-disturbance buffer around the perimeter of each property, something that is taken into account when each design is prepared by CLC. With its beautifully designed homes and expansive lots, there is so much to love about designing landscapes in Montville, NJ. In fact, of all the towns in Morris County, Montville Township remains one of our favorites!
